简历准备以及投放：

简历投放后注意事项：

准备一下你的强项和弱点或需要提高的方面在哪里，这个问题经常问道，比如你擅长学习掌握新的东西等等
准备一些scenario的回答，给你面试的人经常要求你工作中遇到的实例，比如，举例说明你怎样处理棘手的一个技术问题，怎样escalate 一个问题，怎样follow up一个问题，做项目中遇到的困难，如何经过你的努力解决的，结果怎样，客户，同事，经理的反应等等。
面试中难免有听得不清楚的地方，就是如果没完全听清楚面试的问题，不要茫然回答，可以按照你的理解反问一下，do you mean… 或 may i double confirm my understanding…以确定所问的问题，而不是简单说pardon让对方重复。
每个问题不在回答的时间长短，主要是让面试的人听到他/她想要听的。如果正面不好回答，举个过去工作中的例子。
以在澳洲找工作的情况看，通常你有了面试的机会，录用你的可能性就能有70-80%,我想给你面试的人都是仔细看了你简历研究过，选出的候选人，他们不会浪费自己的时间花在不符合要求的人身上。

首先面试一般是见面聊，skype聊，电话聊，这三种。后两者会在我国时间深夜进行，学生务必各施其法，让自己在半夜的状态兴奋起来，适合你的方法不好说，可能是听摇滚音乐/喝茶/喝咖啡/跑两圈/打网游。注意美国目前在冬季时间，例如我们晚上九点，美国东部是早上八点，同时也要知道面试的学校是在美国的哪个时区。
不管是何种面试，都建议你穿上正装或者商务休闲装，穿上了正装之后，自己的言谈也会不自觉的专业起来。如果是电话面试，请务必站起来讲电话，站立说话会让自己的能量水平(energy level)更高。
学生需要深刻的明白，面试不是被面试官审问，而是一个交流的过程，同时兜售自己。所以时刻要记得两点：交流和兜售。虽然美国学校是什么性格的人都有，但一般来说，在面试过程中传达一个正面的积极的开朗的形象会比较受用。整个面试中，大概有六七成是在于交流的方式，三四成在于说话的内容，在下边会给出详细的`例子：
1.头两句话会很飞快的过去，非英语母语的我们要分外留意，尽量记得面试人的名字，例如叫John Williams，之后可以称呼为 Williams，如果是见面聊天，应该在事前就能知道面试官名字，应该可以做到流利的称呼别人的姓。使用 Williams称呼面试官，可以有效的把谈话往“交流”的方向牵引。实在没听见的话可以说，I‘m sorry， I didn’t catch your name- (不好意思，我刚才没听清您的名字？)对方会为你重复一遍，这是符合礼节的，不用感觉内疚。
2.见面或者skype的话，说话要看面试官的眼睛，不习惯的话可以不时转移视线到鼻子，低头背稿是木有用di、
3.准备一个30秒的短版本自我介绍，和一个一分半钟的长版本自我介绍，看面试官的兴趣现场增减内容。记得这是一个自我销售的好时机，面试官通过“简单的介绍一下你自己”这样的题目，想知道的不是学生姓甚名谁住在哪，而是想知道为啥我们学校要录取你，换句话说，是要知道学生有多好，和学生是否和学校相配。下边举例说明：
a.我叫做玛丽，在深圳中学高二，从小在深圳长大，很希望可以去美国的高校读书、
b.我叫做玛丽，在深圳中学成绩一直在前10名，尤其是数学非常出色，还参加过为大学生举办的数学建模大赛，我希望以后从事数学建模相关的工作，这就是为什么我申请xx学校的文理学院。
这两个版本的回答就很不一样了，后者明显在抓紧机会兜售自己。
4.准备回答为什么选这个学校，为什么这个专业
强调，这基本是一个必问的问题，一般来说如果去过学校，可以说一下去学校的见闻，没有去过的话，在维基上把学校的介绍看了，然后上一些国外的论坛，搜一下别人对这些学校笼统的介绍，选自己喜欢的几点。注意在说的时候要流利，投入。下边也举例说明
a.I saw online that xx-x university has a 7 to 1 student/faculty ratio， it means I will have more opportunity to interact with professors (我在网上看见你们学校学生教授比例是7：1，这说明我会有很多机会和教授-交流)
b.I always have questions and ideas that I LOVE to share with friends and professors， xx-x university has a VERY IMPRESSIVE 7：1 student to faculty ratio. I believe I will receive THE VERY BEST EDUCATION I could ever get in xx-x university (我非常喜欢和朋友以及教授-交流问题和想法，你们学校有7：1这么令人印象深刻的生师比，我深信我在你们学校可以得到我所能得到的最最好的教育)
这两段话的感情-色彩迥异，前者像背书，后者是有感情的口语化交流。
5.准备几个要问面试官的问题，提的问题不能是在网站上可以轻易找到答案的，例如“你们学校综合排名第几”这类的傻瓜问题千万不要出现，注意这里也可以交流起来，再次强调，面试的全程是在和面试官“交流”不是一问一答的被审问，回答问题光说“是”“不是”那是不够的。
结束之后如果有面试官的邮件，发信感谢面试官的时间和他提供的有用信息，强调自己对学校的兴趣。没有邮件的话，靠记住的名字，在学校官网首页的搜索栏中可以找出来这个人的邮件。
